N2 - The remains of a large Gallo-Roman mausoleum have been discovered at Faverolles, near the town of Langres (Haute-Marne) ; slim tower shopped, with three levels ofcorinthian order, it was decorated with rich bas-relief, high-relief and statuary. At the beginning of the Empire, a rich Lingon erected a somptuous grave, by the side of the Roman road, and on the boundary of his estate, the villa of which has been discovered.
N2 - C'est à Faverolles, à proximité de la ville de Langres en Haute-Marne, que furent découverts les vestiges d'un grand mausolée gallo-romain en forme de tour élancée à trois niveaux d'ordre corinthien. Il était richement décoré de sculptures en bas-relief, haut-relief et ronde-bosse. Au début de l'Empire, un Lingon fortuné s'est fait construire un somptueux tombeau en bordure d'une voie romaine, à la limite de son domaine rural, dont la villa a été retrouvée.
