Schizophrenia and bipolar disorders are severe psychiatric disorders which are associated with suffering and a highly increased suicide rate. In particular, resilience and quality of life as central constructs of well-being are often reduced compared to a healthy population. The investigation of the influencing factors is therefore relevant. Childhood trauma and medication are getting into focus as causal and moderating variables. This dissertation aims at the precise analysis of the influence and impact of childhood traumatization and the neuroleptics on drug adherence, resilience and quality of life. As part of the Tecla study and the IMeS study, a total of 130 patients were included in the data analysis. The study population included schizophrenic diseases and bipolar disorders. Some of the subjects received follow-up surveys after six months as well as additional telemedical care. Regression analyses were carried out to examine the question. It could be shown that childhood traumatization was associated with decreased resilience (stand. Beta= -,252; 95% CI= -,411- (-,002); p= ,048) and quality of life (stand. Beta= -,331; 95% CI= -,404- (-,072); p= ,005) in adulthood. In addition, after six months, it was shown that resilience improved less in subjects with traumatization than in subjects without traumatization. In addition to the lower initial resilience, the development over time is also negatively influenced. A positive influence on the quality of life could be shown ...
