"The award-winning director Uwe Scheffler took up the challenge of vizualizing the complex spirit of Klezmer music. With almost no spoken commentary, he followed the melodic strands of the Logensaal to the Jewish synagogue in Cracow, through the extermination camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau as well as to the Holocaust memorials in Israel. For the project Giora Feidman brought in an eclectic mix of musicians.
