<p>The synthesis of tetrahydroquinolines <italic>via</italic> the Povarov reaction has been developed using Ce(SO<sub>2</sub>)<sub>4</sub> as a catalyst. This efficient protocol allowed the toxicity and phenotypic study of these products using a zebrafish embryo model.</p>
