Beschreibung:
In recent years there has been a significant shift towards decentralised nursery systems in rural tree planting programmes. In this book, the authors discuss the benefits and problems associated with this trend through detailed case studies of six projects, located in Bolivia, Kenya, Nepal, the Sudan, Tanzania and Vietnam. Looking beyond the different experiences of these projects, they explore the organisational and managerial aspects of small-scale nurseries, and assess the processes of decentralisation and diversification.
