Energy Fields: Vibrations of the Pacific is a relational atlas that considers a multiplicity of readings that use vibration and energetic materials as a primary way of knowing. As the most dynamic tectonic plate on the face of the planet, the Pacific has been a hotbed of activity caused by volcanic, seismic, nuclear, and other vibrant forces. It is these events and their resulting vibrations that have helped artists, scientists, and cultural historians cultivate a wide ranging but interdependent approach to knowledge creation and sensory practices.
