<jats:p>Professional organizations in computing sometimes collaborate around education (notably in the ACM/IEEE computing curricula volumes). This is, however, too rare. We need our professional organizations to speak with a common voice on computing education issues like public policy and K-12 education to support the critical needs of our information-based world.</jats:p>
