Die Verbindung von Bildung und Büchern ist das Thema dieser Ausstellung, die im Sommersemester 2018 von Studierenden der Universität aus Anlass des 14. Internationalen Symposiums von Bibliotheca Baltica, der Bibliotheksvereinigung des Ostseeraums, in einem Projektseminar erarbeitet wurde. Die Studierenden haben in den Sondersammlungen der Universitätsbibliothek besondere Bücher ausgewählt und anschließend die Geschichte der Bücher und der Menschen, die sie geschrieben und gedruckt haben, erforscht und in Plakaten dargestellt.<ger>
The connection between books and education is the subject of this exhibition, developed during a summer 2018 seminar by students at the University of Rostock on the occasion of the 14th International Symposium of Bibliotheca Baltica, an association of libraries in the Baltic Sea region. The students selected a number of notable books from the library’s Special Collections and researched both the books’ histories and those of the people who wrote and printed them. Their findings are collected on the posters on display.<eng>
