This new commentary on Ovid's Heroides 10 offers an introductory essay, a revised text, and a detailed line-by-line interpretative, linguistic and stylistic commentary on the text. Combining the traditional philological approach with some of the concerns of more recent critics, both introduction and commentary analyse the construction of the text and survey aspects of Ovidian language and style, as well as the relationship of the epistle to its literary models
