Panax ginseng C.A.Mey. is an Araliaceae Panax plant. Along with mink and antler, ginseng is one of the three treasures of Northeast of China, and is a valuable medicine and health care product. The "King of Herbs" is known around the globe; however, a comprehensive source of information on its use is needed.
