Hypospadias is the most common urogenital malformation in boys, the cause is a disturbance in genital development between the 9th and 14th week of pregnancy. One in 200-300 boys is affected. Over 250 surgical techniques have been described since Galen. The surgical results of the Universitätsmedizin Greifswald between 2006-2016 were examined with consideration of the changed postoperative management and the subjective patient satisfaction.
