English Abstract: By nature, strategic planning models focus on identifying opportunities and threats for a company (based on the structural characteristics of the environment), while neglecting the circumstantial elements. However, the long term is determined largely by the accumulation of short-term phenomena of transient nature. In the management practice, apparently is not granted equal importance to ex-ante analysis of the situation, ie the so-called economic forecast. Indeed, it is not unusual to find in the annual reports, rendered by managers to the owners, the description of the prospects of the business environment. This absence may have a deeper reason, which is the ignorance of the temporary environmental joint of the company, both with the industry in which it participates and in the economy as a whole
