  • Description: Although the registration of candidates for subnational elections in Colombia closes August 10, it can be anticipated that the number of candidates not be less than five. Also, the latest polls hint at the indecisiveness of the electorate, since the interest rise of Petro followed almost immediately - via another polling - by Peñaloza enhancement, in less than a week of time between survey and survey, and the third struggled place between Galan and Parody, suggests a degree of electoral uncertainty. Also, we have seen clearly the personal traits of campaign strategies, as well as low ideological distance between the speeches of the various candidates, accompanied by an interesting segment of the electorate expressed a differentiation in how to address each sector by each party, as a result gives us a centripetal competition. In spite of what may believe if seen very superficially the race in Bogota, we could be facing a moderate pluralism
