  • Description: Leo and Rob Green were the owners of Peacock Corrugators, a large firm in the corrugated packaging industry located in Smithtown, New York. The brothers had taken the firm that was started by their father and their uncle and had grown the size of the business as well as its financial performance. Their most significant growth strategy to date had been when they built a Super Plant a decade earlier to centralize the firm’s operations. Now in their fifties, Leo and Rob were contemplating the future of the family business. They were considering a number of investments that would help the business continue to grow. Both Leo and Rob had always been very driven in their objective to grow the business, but Leo has now questioned whether it is time for them to slow down, especially given Rob’s health issues.
