Spanish Abstract: La importancia del turismo en la economía mundial es evidente en el ámbito de la investigación de las Ciencias Sociales, teniendo presente sus peculiaridades asociadas al territorio que se analice, de esta forma se orienta este articulo a las tendencias socioeconómicas modernas, analizando el potencial de los destinos turístico de la Provincia del Guayas. El objetivo del artículo es valorar el potencial turístico de la Provincia del Guayas desde las tendencias socioeconómicas aplicadas a la economía del turismo ecuatoriano, desarrollado desde la perspectiva de lo global a lo local. La implementación de las oportunidades de la apertura para el desarrollo de los destinos turísticos implica el uso de un enfoque sistemático para ofrecer un turismo atractivo por parte de los territorios turísticos ecuatorianos
English Abstract: The importance of tourism in the world economy is evident in the field of Social Sciences research, bearing in mind its peculiarities associated with the territory being analyzed, in this way this article is oriented to modern socioeconomic trends, analyzing the potential of the tourist destinations of the Province of Guayas. The objective of the article is to assess the tourist potential of the Province of Guayas from the socioeconomic trends applied to the economy of Ecuadorian tourism, developed from the perspective of the global to the local. The implementation of the opportunities of the opening for the development of tourist destinations implies the use of a systematic approach to offer an attractive tourism on the part of the Ecuadorian tourist territories
