  • Description: The influence of discharge price on user willingness to participate in the vehicle-to-grid (V2G) market is explored in this paper by constructing critical discharge electricity price (CDEP) and user participation willingness (PW) models. Based on the CDEP model, 12 typical EV models are measured and compared, providing a reference for evaluating V2G transaction income. The impact of dynamic battery parameters on the EV critical discharge price and user willingness to participate in the V2G market were also investigated by considering possible optimization of battery manufacturing processes and material cost. Battery capacity and lifetime are found to have a significant impact on user willingness to discharge. However, unless breakthroughs in battery technology are realized in the short term, reasonable government subsidies might be necessary to impact the EV user participation
