Description:
In this research work, we synthesized novel zinc aluminate (Zn 1-x Eu x Al 1-y O 4 Sr y ) sky bluish phosphors at 500 o C via combustion route method, and for better crystallinity we were annealed in condensing envelope with 85% of N 2 and 15% of H 2 at 1200 °C. The spinel cubic phase, elemental mapping elements, surface morphology, and Raman and FTIR properties were observed by PXRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR and Raman spectroscopic techniques. The Photoluminescence (PL) spectra were monitored by λ ex .= 490 nm (Excitation wavelength) and λ em . = 392 (emission wavelength). Due to Eu 2+ ions at 490 nm intense photoluminescence spectra have found. The PL efficiency has found for synthesized Zn 0.95 Eu 0.05 Al 1.95 O 4 Sr 0.05 (ZAS-5) phosphor around 93.2%. The high CCT temperature (~25963K), low color purity (50%) and low CRI (~44) value was found for ZAS-5 sample, that result (temperature) is indicating prepared phosphor is emitting cold sky bluish light and which may be useful for as a sleeping light lamp, activation of photosynthesis reaction for crops, and background color for the display screen, because, it may be low dangerous color for human eyes. Antibacterial activity of phosphors indicated that combustion derived synthesized all ZAS samples may behave just like as an Eco-material
