  • Description: Climate change is an emerging issue at the global level. Due to climate change, the world is facing various problems. It is considered a threat to the environment and human development in terms of health and other issues. The paper aims to analyze the role of climate change in the context of human security. The main objective of this research is to examine how climate change is related to human security. Bangladesh is taken as a case study for this research because it is considered that this country is going to be a major victim of climate change in the foreseeable future. It highlights various climatic challenges in Bangladesh that challenge human security in this third world country. The paper uses a descriptive-analytical method based on reports provided by UNDP and UNEP. Additionally, it scrutinizes the conceptual framework with the help of the realism paradigm and frustration-aggression- hypothesis to understand the concerned issue
