  • Description: The work plan and execution of construction site schedule are usually repetitively revised on a weekly basis. Weekly planning and execution are based on daily work progress. However, the daily work report of the site only records the construction plan and execution details on a day and is not used in connection with the schedule management. This study presents a daily work report model and schedule monitoring method using Last Planner System and Line of Balance techniques. Information of daily work report and weekly work report based on Last Planner System and Line of Balance is linked to the ‘Critical Path Method’ schedule, which has precedence and trailing relationships between work tasks. Integrated information of work schedule enables analysis of the progress of the entire project every day. The daily work report based on the Last Planner System and Line of Balance can make central project process manager and project schedulers collaborate in order to make schedule changes and adjustments. The proposed model can not only analyze the work delay and interferences in advance but also overcome the existing limitations of use only one of top–down or bottom-up approach in schedule management
