Turkish Abstract: Sosyal adalet, Fransı z i htilali sonucunda önem kazanan ve s ın ıflar arası farkları n olu şması sonucu ortaya çı kan bir kavram özelliğ indedir. Toplumsal düzenin olu şması ve refah düzeyinin artması için sı n flar arası farkı n minimuma indirgenmesi öngörülmektedir. Ancak son y ıllarda uygulanan devlet politikaları nı n liberal eğ imli olması gelir eş itsizliğ inin, yaş am standard ını n toplumdaki bireyler aras ında giderek farklı laş ması na neden olmuş tur. Tüm bu olumsuz geliş melere rağ men son yı llarda toplumlarda sı nı flar arası farkı önlemek amacı yla toplumsal dayan ışmaları n ortaya çı ktığı gözlenmektedir. Bu bağ lamda hay ırseverliğ in sosyal adalet için önemli bir yaklaşı m olduğ unu söylememiz mümkündür. Çal mada OECD 2009 verileri kullanı larak yoksulluk açığı oranı nı n yüksek olduğ u 10 OECD ülkesinde sosyal destek ve hayı rseverlik oranı nı n doğ ru orantı lı olması olgusu, istatistiksel veriler eş liğ inde tartışı lmak istenilmektedir. Hay ırseverliğ in sosyal adalet ve toplumsal dayanış ma aç ısı ndan önemi irdelenmek istenilmektedir
English Abstract: Social justice is a concept which became more important and was occurred by result of French Revolution and generating of interclass differences. Interclass difference has decrease to minimum that presupposition for creating societal structure and improving welfare conditions. But nowadays inequalities of income and life standards have changed between people on society because of governments’ liberal policy tendency. Despite those negative aspects, we can observe that societal cooperation has existed for blocking class inequalities in society. So philanthropy is so important for social justice, we can say. This research examines direct relationship between social supporting and philanthropy rates on 10 OECD countries who have poverty gap rate is so high by using OECD 2009 data. And this research’s main aim is showing philanthropy’s importance for social justice and social cooperation as well
