  • Description: The latest researches depict that there is a gap in the literature on the role of knowledge creation (KC) in higher-level strategic decision-making process. The purpose of this paper is to develop a conceptual model in order to conceptualize the relationship between these two important concepts. Due to the subjective nature of this situation, Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is used to incorporate and conceptualize the related principles. The proposed conceptual model provides advantages for managers, decision makers, and consultants to understand the role of creating new strategic and competitive knowledge from their current decision making processes
