  • Description: Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, working from home has gone from being a very uncommon option to becoming a generally accepted employment type. This study makes use of the Global Survey of Working Arrangements (G-SWA) to investigate the factors that determine how productive people feel they are when working from home. Using data on 12,730 individuals from more than 20 countries, OLS regression and the ordered logit model show that younger, educated, and married people, females, and individuals with kids tend to be more productive. Also, people who work more at home and individuals with longer commute times feel their productivity is higher
