The research in question envisions, as well as the proposed theme, leads us to outline an analysis of the Alagoas prison profile, where, while emphasizing that these numbers should not be looked at in a supreme and absolute way as to their reliability, given the perceptions and contradictions that are provided to us, if we compare theory and practice. This time, we will use the combination of theoretical frameworks to substantiate the meaning of the data collected and exposed through the SISDEPEN reports, from the time lag between the second half of 2015 until the first half of 2020.
