  • Description: Bangladesh is a developing country in South Asia, where around half of the population is women. The majority of the women are not engaged in economic sectors for several reasons. One particular reason is Bangladesh's practice of patriarchal values which results in discrimination between genders affecting women’s economic participation. The gender disparity in economic participation is a common phenomenon in developing countries, as discussed in previous scholarly articles. Digital financial inclusion can improve this situation, reducing the gender gap in developing countries. However digital financial inclusion there requires technical literacy and access to technology which remains a challenge for women in developing nations. In this report, we tried to explain from stakeholders' viewpoint, how the users, particularly the women as beneficiaries can access digital financial services considering the barriers in the context of Bangladesh
