  • Description: We find a robust positive association between firm-level climate change exposure and corporate lobbying on climate-related issues. This effect is more pronounced in carbon-intensive industries, when firms have more analyst coverage, and when firms have better environmental performance. Our results suggest that firms strategically allocate more political resources toward climate-related issues in response to the intensified climate change to manage their climate risks
