  • Description: We examine how medical technological businesses are reducing their vulnerability during the crisis. 19 medical technological businesses were interviewed in depth. The samples were selected through scientific and research town, industrial towns around, innovation district and also snowball sampling. This research links three perspectives of opportunity with business resilience during crisis and shows that technological businesses can reduce their vulnerability through the absorptive, adaptive, and transformative capacity and exploit opportunities. Since vulnerability assessment is a critical element in the field of disaster risk reduction and sustainability, this study contributes to the literature on sustainability and disasters
