In this thesis we study supersingular curves and Abelian varieties in positive characteristic. In particular, we are interested in computing explicit equations for them. The remarkable property of supersingular Abelian varieties is that they form non-trivial families. We solve our problem by exploiting the degenerate fibers of these families. Furthermore we use Mumford's theta groups and Cartier-Dieudonné theory.
