In seinem Hauptgutachten aus dem Jahr 2016 hat der Wissenschaftliche Beirat der Bundesregierung Globale Umweltveränderungen (WBGU) den nachhaltigen Umgang mit Fläche als wichtigen Gestaltungsaspekt von Transformationsprozessen hervorgehoben. Die Nutzung von Fläche für Siedlungszwecke steht unter anderem in Zusammenhang mit der Errichtung, der Nutzung und dem Abriss von Gebäuden. Im Hinblick auf die Forderung und die Notwendigkeit, Fragen der Transformationsforschung aus unterschiedlichen wissenschaftlichen Perspektiven zu beantworten, wird im folgenden Beitrag geprüft, welche Lösungsansätze ein immobilienwirtschaftlicher Zugang bereithält. Neben der Frage, wie Immobilien zielführend als Aspekt von und in Transformationsprozesse(n) integriert werden können, soll der Beitrag darüber hinaus für die Bedeutung von Bestandsimmobilien für die Entwicklung ländlicher Räume sensibilisieren. ; In the main report from 2016, WBGU highlighted sustainable land take as an important aspect of spatial transformation processes. With regard to the demand and the need to answer questions of transformation research from different scientific perspectives, the following article examines which solution approaches a real estate industry approach has in store. In addition to the question of how real estate can be purposefully integrated as an aspect of and into transformation processes, the article is also intended to raise awareness of the importance of the development of rural areas in the context of these processes.
