Source: https://erdc-library.erdc.dren.mil/jspui/ ; This report contains summary information for seven wave gages in operation in 1993 along the U.S. coasts. Five of the gages are located along the U.S. Atlantic coast, one in Lake Michigan, and one is located in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. These gages are part of the Network for Engineering Monitoring of the Oceans (NEMO) operated by the Prototype Measurement and Analysis Branch of the Coastal Engineering Research Center, U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station. The wave data summary products presented in this report are provided to aid in engineering design, assessment, operation, and maintenance of Corps coastal projects. Future summaries will be a product of the Field Wave Gaging Program.
