Zusammenfassung: Motivated by a physical model for crystal growth and Minkowski (Finsler) geometry, we study quasilinear elliptic partial differential equations with a so-called anisotropic Laplace operator and obtain lots of results analogous to the usual Laplace operator. On the other hand, we solve a problem of prescribing anisotropic Gauss curvature, the so-called Minkowski problem, in Minkowski normed space
Zusammenfassung: Motiviert durch ein physikalisches Modell für Kristallwachstum und Minkowski- (Finsler-) Geometrie, untersuchen wir quasilineare elliptische partielle Differentialgleichungen mit einem sogenannten anisotropen Laplace-Operator und erhalten viele Ergebnisse analog zum herkömmlichen Laplace-Operator. Außerdem lösen wir ein Problem der Verschreibung von der anisotropen Gaußkrümmung, das sogenannte Minkowski-Problem im Minkowski-normierten Raum.
