In this paper we refuse the generalized idea within linguists working onSpanish word formation that compounds with a verbal element in Spanishlanguage are nouns. Based on different criteria (morphological, syntactic andsemantic) and attending the evolution of Spanish language, we like to show incontrast that these formations are adjectives.
