  • Description: The work deals with numerical simulation of laminar-turbulent transition in transonic flows in turbine cas-cades. The 3D cascade geometry as well as 2D model cascade in a wind tunnel is simulated. The γ-ζ transition model is based on empirical criteria for start of the transition. The implementation of the model is discussed including re-formulation of the criterion for transition on separation bubble.
