  • Description: Abstract The carbon dioxide produced by desulfurization in the metallurgical industry increases the carbon content in tail gas. However, the product of the decarbonization process can remove sulfur dioxide from tail gas. In this paper, the absorption and crystallization amounts of sodium carbonate solution reacting with carbon dioxide at high temperatures are explored through experiments, and the optimum concentration of sodium carbonate solution for absorbing carbon dioxide is determined. The purity of crystals is verified by analyzing the crystallization quality, absorption amount, and absorption curve.
