  • Description: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>In this article, after a brief discussion of the role of management in supporting data quality efforts within its organization we describe work carried out to improve the quality of a database of mortgages insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). The techniques used include internal consistency checks and record linkage methods.
