A Bis(ferrocenyl‐1,3‐diketonate) Chelate Copper(II) Complex as Host for Calcium and Alkali‐Ions</jats:bold></jats:p><jats:p>The reactions of the ferrocene (Fc) containing bis(ferrocenyl‐1,3‐diketone) FcC(O)CH=C(OH)‐C(OH)=CHC(O)Fc with copper<jats:sup>2+</jats:sup> ions in the presence of calcium, sodium or potassium salts yield complexes in which bis(1,3‐diketonate)copper chelates act as hosts for Ca<jats:sup>2+</jats:sup>, Na<jats:sup>+</jats:sup> or K<jats:sup>+</jats:sup> ions.</jats:p>
