Unlike other meningiomas, intra‐parenchymal meningiomas do not originate from dura. Intra‐parenchymal meningiomas are more common in males and develop earlier than regular meningiomas. Because of the rare occurrence the intra‐parenchymal meningiomas, they are commonly misdiagnosed.
