<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Single crystals of KCs[N(CN)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>]<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> (I) and NaRb<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>[N(CN)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>]<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>·H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O (II) are obtained by mixing aqueous solutions of Na[N(CN)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>] and the respective alkali fluoride followed by slow H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O evaporation.</jats:p>
