• Description:
Abstract
Several new cyclic triphosphenium ions and their 2‐arsa‐analogues have been identified in solution by 31P NMR spectroscopy. The crystal and molecular structures of the cations 1a,b, as their hexachlorostannate (IV) salts have shown that the five membered heterocyclic rings are planar, whereas the cation 9b as its diphosphanedioxide‐bis[pentachlorostannate(IV)] salt is nonplanar, like its saturated phosphorus counterpart. magnified image © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
