  • Description: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Three new chromanones, uniflorol A acetate (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>), uniflorol B acetate (<jats:bold>2</jats:bold>), and 2,2‐dimethyl‐6‐{1‐[(4′‐acetoxy)angeloyloxy]ethyl}chroman‐4‐one (<jats:bold>3</jats:bold>), together with the known chromanone <jats:bold>4</jats:bold>, and two known <jats:italic>p</jats:italic>‐hydroxyacetophenone derivatives, <jats:bold>5</jats:bold> and <jats:bold>6</jats:bold>, were isolated from the CH<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>Cl<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> crude extract of the underground parts of <jats:italic>Calea clausseniana</jats:italic> <jats:sc>Baker</jats:sc>. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses, including 2D‐NMR techniques.</jats:p>
