Description: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>The title compound [<jats:sup>14</jats:sup>C]BAY u 3405 (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>) was synthesized as part of 8‐step sequence. Starting from [U‐<jats:sup>14</jats:sup>C]aniline hydrogensulfate the final product <jats:bold>1</jats:bold> was obtained with a specific activity of 741 MBq/mmol (20 mCi/mmol) and a radiochemical purity of > 98% in an overall yield of 6 and 10% depending on the method.</jats:p>
