<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Acids labeled with tritium at the α‐C‐atom were synthesized through the rearrangement of diazo ketones with TOH‐dioxane in the presence of silver oxide. This paper describes the preparation of <jats:italic>p</jats:italic>‐methoxy‐phenylacetic‐α‐T acid, <jats:italic>p</jats:italic>‐hydroxy‐phenylacetic‐α‐T acid, β‐alanine‐α‐T, γ‐aminobutyric‐α‐T acid and δ‐aminovaleric‐α‐T acid.</jats:p>
