AbstractDiethyl succinosuccinate was condensed with m‐phenylenediamine or 4.4′‐diamino‐diphenyl ether. The resulted polyamines were oxidized and cyclized to polyquinolone, or polyoxyquinacridone. The cyclization of the polyamine without oxidation produced polydihydroquinolonoquinolone. The thermal stability of these polymers were measured under various conditions.
