AbstractA paper by Quella which appeared in this journal (Makromol. Chem. 190, 1445 (1989)) criticized a 1983 publication by this author. Quella has suggested that my paper postulating the non‐existence of ternary azeotropes “is contradicted on the basis of mathematical solutions and further experimental results from other authors.” The present paper is in response to Quella.
