  • Description: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>We investigate the electrokinetic flow and mass transport in microchannels. Therefore, mathematical models of the electrical, fluid‐mechanical and chemical processes are established. Within the electrical double layer (EDL), approximative analytical solutions can be found and matched asymptotically to the numerical (FEM) solution of the channel core.
