From their recent comprehensive review of the evidence for these <jats:italic>n</jats:italic>-3 fatty acids in the prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders<jats:sup>3</jats:sup>, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) made the following recommendations:</jats:p>
