<jats:p>In this paper, the notions of Ćirić type (I) <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M2"><mml:mi mathvariant="script">Z</mml:mi></mml:math>-contractions and Ćirić type (II) <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M3"><mml:mi mathvariant="script">Z</mml:mi></mml:math>-contractions in generating spaces of quasi-metric family are introduced and new fixed point theorems for such two contractions are established. We give examples to illustrate main results.</jats:p>
