  • Description: AbstractThe filamentous appendages on the abdomen of males of Neurorthus, observed by McLachlan and recorded by him in 1898, are shown to be a pair of pleuritocavae, similar to those present in certain Myrmeleontini and Neuropterinae, recorded by Tjeder in 1954 and 1967 respectively.
