  • Description: <jats:p> In multi-product purchase-for-resale situations, the selection of the appropriate criteria for evaluation of alternative items is an important problem. This article reports on research which used computer simulation models to investigate the impact of alternative product addition and deletion criteria on the product mix and operating results of supermarket chains. </jats:p>
