<jats:p>Experiments have been designed for the measurement of the magnetoresistance of a normal metal and of the critical field dependence of a superconductor. The equipment is relatively cheap and simple to construct and operate, and the experiments yield accurate results in times short enough for inclusion in an undergraduate laboratory class.</jats:p>
