  • Description: The measurement of Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is key to diagnosing and managing EBV-associated complications in transplant recipients. The performance of the new Conformité Européenne (CE) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared quantitative Roche cobas EBV real-time PCR assay was determined by using EDTA-plasma dilution panels and clinical samples that were spiked with either the World Health Organization’s EBV international standard or high-titer EBV lambda stock.
